Use your remaining time to get any essential items you may need. Please get to bed early as we have a long drive ahead of us tomorrow.

Our Annapurna circuit trek commences with a drive out of Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway towards Jagat. After Trishuli, we will soon drive through Dumre where the river of Marshyangdi guides our way.

Soon, Besisahar will be seen where we will have some fill of lunch. The rough road of Lamjung district will now drive us through Khudi, Bhulbhule (840 m), Nagadi (930 m), Dobhantar, Ghermu, Bahun Danda, and Syange before we are at Jagat for the night.

Beginning to walk from Jagat, a rocky trail will push us further for around 1.5 hours to Chamje (1430 m). our adventure will continue over the steel bridge with the Marshyangdi River flowing ragingly beneath us.

Past the amazing waterfall, we enter Tal (1700 m) of Manang District. Trekking across the river one more time, we trek up through Karte and arrive at Dharapani.

An hour upstream trail will direct us to Bagarchhap (2160 m) where we can observe the Annapurna II, Manaslu, and Lamjung peak ranges. The forested terrain will push us through Danakyu, Timang, Lata Marang (2400 m), and Koto before we are at the headquarter town of Manang: the Chame.

A constricted steep trail following the river bank leads us to the Bhratang settlement. The wooded trail will now guide us upward for an hour till we again cross the steel cable bridge.

We are at Dhukur Pokhari with its 1500 m high Paungdi Danda where we will have our first panorama of Pisang and Chulu Peaks. We will put an effort for one more hour towards Upper Pisang.

The rocky barren trail from Upper Pisang will advance us upward via Ghyaru (3670 m), and Ngawal (3657 m). We will then meet Mungji that carries us up to Braga (3450 m) which contains a very old historic monastery.

We have to walk upward for another thirty minutes to reach Manang where our sunset will be decorated by Annapurna IV, II, III, Lamjung, Tilicho, and Gangapurna.

In Manang, we will spend the entire day going on beautiful hikes towards Gangapurna Glaciated Lake, and touring the Milarepa Cave, hiking up to the Chongkor Lookout tower or the Bodzo Gompa (4130 m) or touring the Khangsar Village (3756 m).

The bumpy rough path after Manang will climb up to Tengi Manang (3650 m). We will continue going upward out of the Marshyangdi Valley and head northwest into the valley of Jarsang Khola.

A juniper thicket will guide us up to Ghunsang (3890 m) where we will cross a tiny mountain stream. The old Mani Walls on the path will direct us up to Yak Kharka.

An uphill rigorous hike will push us ahead toward Letder (4250 m). We will continue pushing ahead over the towering cliff slopes above Thorong Khola till we are at Thorong Phedi at the foot of the Thorong La Pass.

Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan are the extraordinary mountains that will bewilder us at this Phedi.

At Thorong Phedi, we will get up around 3 AM and begin to trek up the mountain. At around 4900 m, we will come across the Thorong High Camp indicating the immense Thorong La Pass is now within our reach.

When we finally reach the Pass top, along with the immense sea of prayer flags, we will also look at the towering profiles of Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, Nilgiri, Manaslu, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and Lamjung.

Around 1600 m hike down now will proceed us through Rani Pauwa, Ekle Bhatti, and Khinga before we are at Muktinath for the night’s rest

Early in the morning, we will tour the Muktinath Temple, equally important to Buddhists and Hindus. We will now commence to hike downstream to Kagbeni via Jharkot.

A red sandy plateau trail will push us around comfortably for about 3 to 4 hours. The red Kag Choda Thupten Samphel Moanstery is of great significance here.

Continuing down through Dagarzong Village, we will soon be at the airstrip town of Jomsom.

This day of our Annapurna Circuit trek will transport us to Pokhara, the heavenly resort and tourism capital of Nepal. You can choose to fly early morning and reach Pokhara within 20 minutes for which you will have to pay a tiny extra amount.

You can also select to drive via Tukuche, Kowang, Lete, Dana, Tatopani, and Beni along the Pokhara Baglung Highway to reach Pokhara.
